Loft Conversion Process

How It Works

Privacy is a necessity, not a luxury. At Bolivia Lofts, we understand that the idea of builders invading your home can be unsettling. That’s why we take a unique outside-in approach—working from scaffolds to ensure minimal disruption to your daily life. So you can relax and go about your routine with ease.

Our director, Rob, is also the carpenter, who will be managing the loft project from site 5 days a week. This is a great benefit for us and our customers as we will be there every step of the way including the actual build itself.

Initial Enquiry

Once a member of our sales team has met with you to discuss your vision for your new loft project, we will provide you with a free quotation. A few days after you receive it, we’ll follow up to hear your thoughts and answer any questions you may have. If you choose to move forward with Bolivia Lofts, this is where the excitement truly begins!

Design

At Bolivia Lofts, our recommended architects and structural engineers will work closely with you to create the perfect design for your home. We understand that design is personal, so if you already have plans in place, we’re more than happy to work with them. However, you can also rely on us to offer exclusive ideas tailored to your vision and property.
We are completely flexible and are involved with every stage throughout the project.

Build

Once we have all the relevant permissions in place, Bolivia Lofts will assign your project to a senior team leader, who will be on-site every day until the project is 100% complete. Your team leader will keep you updated daily on the progress of the project.

In addition, Rob, our director, will always be on-site, directly assisting with the building process to ensure everything runs smoothly. An experienced member of our quality control team will also visit regularly to ensure the project is meeting our high standards, staying on track, and that the site remains safe and tidy throughout.

Completion

At the end of the project, your senior team leader will check everything is completed and the quality control team will also ensure nothing has been missed.

Once the loft is completely finished and the client is happy, we ensure everything is clean and the roof and gutters are down to remove any debris. When everything is clean and tidy, we will then remove the scaffolding.
